- skill.design is a browser-based tool for creating AI skill packages.
- The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind.
- We aim to minimize data collection. Skill data is primarily stored locally in your browser session. Limited technical data (such as logs or basic analytics) may be collected to operate and improve the Service.
- We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice.
4. Your Content
You retain all rights to the skills you create using the Service. We do not claim ownership of your content. You are solely responsible for ensuring your content:
- does not infringe third-party rights
- complies with applicable laws and regulations
5. Skill Package License
Skills you create and export using the Service are your own work. The skill package format follows the open Agent Skills standard. No license fees or royalties are owed to skill.design for skills you create.
By publishing a skill to the Skill Registry, you grant skill.design a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and promote your skill within the Registry. You may remove your skill from the Registry at any time, which terminates this license (except for copies already downloaded by other users).
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to create or distribute harmful, illegal, or malicious content
- Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Service
- Access or attempt to access systems or data not intended for you
- Reverse-engineer or exploit the Service beyond publicly available functionality
7. Intellectual Property & Takedowns
The Service and its original content (excluding user-generated skills) are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, you may submit a takedown notice via our .
Your notice must include:
- Identification of the copyrighted work
- Identification of the infringing material and its location on the Service
- Your contact information
- A statement of good faith belief that the use is not authorized
- A statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate
- Your physical or electronic signature
8. AI & Output Disclaimer
Skills created using the Service are user-generated. We do not guarantee:
- accuracy
- reliability
- fitness for any particular purpose
You are responsible for how skills are used, including any outcomes produced by AI systems.
9. Third-Party Platforms
Skills created with the Service may be used with third-party platforms (e.g., Claude, Cowork, or other tools supporting agent skills).
We are not affiliated with Anthropic, Inc. or any third-party provider and do not guarantee compatibility with any specific platform or version. Your use of third-party platforms is subject to their respective terms.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless skill.design and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of the Service
- Skills you create, distribute, or deploy
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any third-party rights
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, skill.design and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
The Service is provided free of charge and without any service level guarantees.
12. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time, particularly in cases of misuse or violation of these Terms.
13. Changes to Terms

14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal proceedings shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
